The Perth 800 Sale

2010 is the 800th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Burgh of Perth
when in 1210 King William the Lion granted the Royal Charter.
The Perth 800 Sale will be a specialist auction scheduled to be held on 1st July
2010 and run in parallel to the year-long Perth 800 celebrations. The sale will
include a wide range of antiques, art and collectables showcasing the
diversity of the applied and fine arts that have originated or been inspired by
Perth and its surroundings.
The sale will provide a unique platform for vendors looking to sell
Perth-related items and will also provide buyers with an opportunity to add to
their collections.
The auction will take place in the King Street saleroom which is a well known
Perth landmark, a former church dating to the early part of the 19th century
designed by Perth Architect William MacDonald Mackenzie.
The Perth 800 Sale will be a traditional auction with the added feature of live
internet bidding.
