A miniature Satsuma pottery cylindrical jar and associated white metal mounted detachable cover, Meiji Period, the cylindrical pot decorated with two rectangular shaped panels enclosing children, divided by four fan shaped panels enclosing foliage on a richly gilded rouge-de-fer ground, the white metal mounted cover richly gilded with a dragon, signed, 5.5cm high.
