makers mark of JC over NC for James & Nathaniel Creswick, of plain form, the hinged spout with bud and foliate finial with scroll-over handle, engraved oval cartouche bearing initials 'AYM' within banner inscribed 'March.12 1852 (in Roman numerals), March.12 1877 (in Roman numerals), on silver stand with pierced detail, three scroll supports terminating in shell shaped feet with original silver burner, overall 39.5cm high, gross weight 62.1 troy ozs.

Ivory Act 2018 (2022) compliant with non-transferable APHA registration, reference DVNJU4ZB.
