Lindsay Burns & Company provide a confidential, prompt and competitively priced valuation service tailored to meet the requirements of private individuals, solicitors, executors and professional advisors. Valuations are presented in a clear, concise and professionally bound document or in a digital format, with supporting images when required. Our valuation administration system enables the team to process all aspects of each valuation in a detailed and organised manner.

Inheritance Tax Valuations/ Probate Valuations 

Our valuers have the knowledge and experience to provide solicitors and executors with detailed valuations for inheritance tax and probate purposes. Valuations are undertaken promptly and discreetly, complying with the current requirements of HMRC.

Insurance Valuations 

Our valuers are experienced in providing detailed valuations of antiques and fine art for insurance purposes with supporting images for both the client and the insurance company.

Family Division/ Willing Buyer- Willing Seller

Our valuers are able to prepare valuations for family division and willing buyer- willing seller allowing chattels to be assessed accordingly.

Verbal Valuations for Auction

We offer complimentary verbal auction advice for items that you are interested in entering in to one of our auctions. Items and collections can be valued in a number of ways and our valuers travel extensively throughout Scotland and beyond to meet our clients requirements.
